Overlooking the Waterfall Valley, and the Waterberg escarpment merging into acacia savannah, while you enjoy private time, our dedicated Mack & Madi crew of field guides and childminders will entertain your young ones from 5-11 years old.
The essence of the fully solar-powered, Scandi-style Marataba Mountain Lodge is in its exclusive location, set secluded within the Waterberg and surrounded by Marakele National Park.
Just five private Eco Suites – each with a king-sized bed, minibar, Nespresso machine, wood-burning fireplace, en-suite rain shower, and shaded viewing deck – open onto a setting renowned for its magnificent scenery and flourishing wildlife, including the critically endangered black rhino.
In a wilderness world of their own, no more than 10 guests can explore their way: on specialist Marataba Trails, game drives, bush walks, and Miss Mara Water Safaris, and return to relax with in-suite spa treatments. The main lodge provides a more social space to unwind, with an open-plan dining and lounge area, expansive viewing deck, infinity Rock Pool overlooking Waterfall Valley, and a firepit lounge hosting convivial gatherings under the stars.
